Currently, there are seven students from Batey Tantacion with full scholarships, with 22 young adults on a waiting list. Education is a valuable way to empower these amazing young adults to create a sustainable and full life for themselves and their families.

There are approximately 24 families who are living in the city dump just outside Jinotega, Nicaragua, in deplorable conditions. Our friends and partners, Kendra Doutt and Pastor Ricky Lopez have received a parcel of land from the Mayor of Jinotega to build homes for these precious families. This new community will consist of a medical clinic, church, clean water, bathrooms, solar lights, and more. Having a place to call ‘home’ is more than a physical structure, it provides comfort, dignity, and security.

Transforming the Next Generation through Discipleship Making Movement

RINO Foundation has teamed up with Kids Around The World to establish Hope Zones in the Dominican Republic, Haiti, and Central America. This holistic discipleship-making movement consists of three elements: Providing playgrounds where kids and families can gather and connect with the community. Offering a feeding program to meet the critical, physical needs of vulnerable children. And StoryClubs where discipleship-making takes place through sharing the story of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit.

We connect local churches and nonprofit groups in the US to Hope Zones in the Caribbean and Central America to shape the hearts of young children, build lasting relationships and transform communities for Christ.

Price Range: $20-$30k per Hope Zone
Includes a playground, shipping, feeding program and StoryClub.

This year, Rino Foundation and a few local churches in the USA plan to expand our ‘Gift of Play Initiative’ throughout Nicaragua. In cooperation with our partners, Feed The Hungry Nicaragua and Kids Around The World, several communities will receive a large playground for children to gather with their friends and families in a safe environment.
